Vehicle Funders

ENZ has educators across New Zealand and some of them cover large geographical areas.
That means lots of potential driving time to meet clients face-to-face, deliver talks and training, and network with local communities.

Purchasing new vehicles is something we wouldn’t be able to do without the support of amazing funders.

These are some of the funders who have helped with our vehicles.

HUGO CHARITABLE TRUST

Northland roads can be tough on cars. Our epilepsy educators often travel long distances, visiting clients and whanau, and delivering talks and training.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of the Hugo Charitable Trust, we’re replacing our well-used Northland vehicle with a new Kia Seltos LX 2.0.

Having a safer, more reliable and hardier vehicle will make Kore’s job easier, allowing her to get to the face-to-face meetings with people, whanau, schools, workplaces and other community groups.

Continuing the philanthropic legacy of Hugh and Maryanne Green, the Hugo Charitable Trust has distributed $16 million dollars to different organizations all over New Zealand.

Big purchases like this simply wouldn’t be possible for us without this kind of support and were proud to be displaying this support up and down Northland roads for years to come.

Thank you.

2022

Gwen Malden Trust and Bernard Chambers Trust

Thank you to the Gwen Malden Trust and the Bernard Chambers Trust for their support in purchasing a new Toyota Yaris Hybrid for Jenny, our Hawke’s Bay educator.
It’s been a long road to this purchase, with a long campaign for funding and shipping delays. (Also thank you to Sue from Hawke’s Bay Toyota for her patience.)
Jenny does a lot of travelling and her old Corolla had just passed 20 years and 400,000 k’s!
The new car means a safer, smoother drive, and lower impact on the environment and our wallet.

Happy trails.
