People living with epilepsy experience better support through improved epilepsy knowledge, Seizure Management Plan development, seizure first aid response strategies and emergency medication administration training.
Through our education and training programs we build the capacity of individuals and families, organisations and the community to better understand and support the needs of people living with epilepsy. In this way we are working towards creating an ’epilepsy smart’ New Zealand.

Our educators bring a wealth of experience with backgrounds and qualifications in nursing, direct care, disability and education. . Our programs are available online or can be delivered in workplace and community settings.
Our training services are complemented by 0800 37 45 37 which provides support to people living with epilepsy and their family and/or support network.
