Purple Day

The 26th of March each year is Purple Day.  People from around the globe are asked to spread the word about epilepsy by wearing purple.

Purple Day aims to encourage people to talk about epilepsy and to remind those who live with seizures that they are not alone.  Purple Day is dedicated to increasing awareness about epilepsy worldwide.  Each year, during the month of March, people join in or host events to promote epilepsy awareness and raise funds for those living with epilepsy.

“I wanted people around the world to come together and teach others about epilepsy” – Cassidy Megan, Founder of Purple Day.
