As part of the SeizureSmart Program, Epilepsy New Zealand has several training modules for workplaces seeking further information about epilepsy, seizures, and the challenges faced by people who live with epilepsy in the workplace.
The modules cover strategies for use by work colleagues and those working alongside an employee/s living with epilepsy.
These modules are not intended as legal advice
FAQ’s
- How long does the training take – approx. 30-40 mins.
- Do I need to complete all of it – yes, it will not move you onto the next section without finishing the first.
- Do I get a certificate at the end – yes each course will provide a personalised certificate at the end of the training, available to download,
- Are there different courses for Managers and colleagues? – Yes, there are two courses available with slightly different content.
- How much does it cost? Each course is $40 Per Person

WORKING WITH EPILEPSY FOR MANAGERS- ACCESS TRAINING HERE
This module is a general guide to employers about epilepsy in the workplace. The module covers employers’ workplace responsibilities and legal obligations along with strategies for use with employees living with epilepsy.
