Coronavirus and Epilepsy

The COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) situation has entered a new phase.  This viral infection is affecting many countries throughout the world.  While most people who may develop this viral illness will have only mild to moderate symptoms, some people may need to see a health care provider or be hospitalised.

Regardless of your situation, it is important for anyone with epilepsy to talk to their treating health care provider about their individual risks and if any special medical precautions are needed.  Take precautions to avoid getting sick too.
