See the Person
We are proud to bring back our annual See the Person video campaign in June – and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Once again, we’re looking for people to share their experiences – not those diagnosed with epilepsy, but the people around them. Whether you’re a family member, friend, colleague, or someone who has witnessed a seizure or supports someone with epilepsy, your perspective is important and your story matters.
To help tell these stories, we’ll ask two short reflective questions:
- What was one misconception you had about epilepsy before meeting someone who lives with it?
- How has knowing someone with epilepsy changed your perspective?
These questions are designed to encourage honest reflection and show how understanding of epilepsy can change through real-life experiences and relationships.
By sharing these perspectives, we hope viewers will begin to challenge their own assumptions, better understand the impact epilepsy has on individuals and those around them, and feel more confident supporting someone living with epilepsy.
Don’t worry – it won’t be complicated. You’ll record your responses on video (we’ll guide you every step of the way), and we’ll look after the editing to create something meaningful and powerful.
Your perspective could be featured in our videos, social media, website, and other campaign materials – helping others understand epilepsy, respond with confidence, and truly ‘See the Person‘.

We’d be so grateful to have you involved. Your voice could really help others better understand epilepsy and how to respond with empathy and confidence.
