Faces of Epilepsy

For 70 years, Epilepsy NZ has stood beside New Zealanders living with epilepsy and their whānau – providing support, education, advocacy, and hope.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re not just looking back at what has been achieved. We’re looking forward.

Faces of Epilepsy is a celebration of the people at the heart of our community. Every face tells a unique story of resilience, courage, determination, and hope. Together, these people remind us why our work matters and why support for people living with epilepsy must continue.

While we’ve come a long way over the past seven decades, there is still much to do. Every day, people receive a new epilepsy diagnosis. Families face uncertainty. Children miss out on opportunities. Adults navigate work, driving, education, and independence while managing a condition that is often misunderstood.

Your support can help change that.

A donation today will ensure Epilepsy NZ can continue providing life-changing information, education, advocacy, and support services for people living with epilepsy – not just today, but for the next 70 years and beyond.

Whether you give $7, $70, or – or if you’re able – $700 to celebrate our 70th anniversary, every dollar makes a difference. Whatever amount feels right for you, your generosity will help ensure no one has to face epilepsy alone.

As you read the Faces of Epilepsy profiles, we invite you to stand alongside the people behind the photos.
