On Friday 19 June, our Nelson/Marlborough Educator, Theresa, had the pleasure of attending the Men’s Shed Health Expo at the Blenheim Bowls Club.
It was a busy and rewarding day, with a steady stream of people stopping by the Epilepsy NZ table to share their experiences, ask questions, and learn more about epilepsy and the support available.
Theresa had some wonderful conversations with people living with epilepsy, carers, and family members, all seeking information and connection. One of the highlights was hearing the stories of those who have lived with epilepsy for many years and witnessing the resilience and support within the community.
A huge thank you to Dave Packer, his team, and the members of Renwick Men’s Shed Marlborough for organising such a fantastic event. Thank you also to everyone who stopped by for a chat.
It is always a privilege to work alongside the Blenheim community.
