Annual General Meeting 2019

The 63rd Annual General Meeting 2019 of the Epilepsy Association of New Zealand Inc is to be held on the 23rd August 2019 at 5.30pm.

Venue:   Education Centre, Easthope Seminar Room, Level 12 WSB, Wellington Hospital.

At the conclusion of the AGM, Dr Ian Rosemergy will talk about Medical Marijuana – does it have a place in treating people with epilepsy?  Dr Rosemergy is a neurologist at Wellington Hospital.  He has recently participated in an international study of CBD Oil which was applied to the skin of people with epilepsy.

The meeting decides on matters of policy and direction that may be initiated by members or the board.  The meeting also elects independent commissioners, receives the result of the ballot for the board election, decides the competencies sought for commissioners and board members and appoints an auditor.
